At Oasis Home Services, our Support Workers are the heartbeat of our provision. We are looking for compassionate individuals to support young people aged 16+ as they transition from instability to independence. Your role is to provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where residents can stabilize, develop essential life skills, and build a positive future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stabilisation & Support: Provide day-to-day emotional support to young people, many of whom have experienced trauma or disruption.
- Independence Coaching: Deliver weekly keywork sessions focused on life skills, including budgeting, cooking, personal hygiene, and tenancy readiness.
- EET Engagement: Support residents in accessing Education, Employment, and Training (EET) opportunities and attending professional appointments.
- Safeguarding & Governance: Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding protocols.
- Community Integration: Help young people navigate local transport, GP services, and community resources to build confidence.
